This Privacy Policy describes how Christian Sosa-Lynch ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the HomePulse SMS service ("Service").
When you use HomePulse, we collect your mobile phone number when you text our number. We may also collect the content of messages you send, including photos of your refrigerator or plants, and any text queries you submit.
We use your phone number solely to send you responses to your messages and automated home-care reminders you have opted into. We use the content of your messages to generate AI-powered responses (recipes, plant care advice, shopping list management) using Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Rekognition on AWS. We do not use your information for marketing or advertising purposes.
We will never sell, rent, share, or disclose your mobile phone number or message content to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes. Your mobile number is used only to deliver the HomePulse service to you directly.
Message frequency varies based on your usage. You will receive responses to each message you send, plus automated plant care reminders based on schedules you establish. Message and data rates may apply.
Message content and home inventory data (fridge contents, plant care schedules, shopping lists) are stored securely in Amazon DynamoDB with a 90-day automatic deletion policy. Images are stored in Amazon S3 with a 30-day automatic deletion policy.
You can opt out of receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any HomePulse message. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. Reply START at any time to re-subscribe.

We use industry-standard AWS security practices to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit, IAM role-based access controls, and no public exposure of personal data.
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
